As a surprise gift for longtime family friends, we created a family memento of living memory that would serve as a reminder and celebration of the Williams’ past, present and future. We wanted to maintain a sentimental, timeless feel to the piece and decided to keep it back and white with hints of color. The headshots on the sides were included to add a playfulness to the design, as well as incorporating a comic book style element with the words and pictures together. It took many painstaking hours to cull through years and years of pictures to find the perfect images to tell the family’s story, but it was worth it to see the look on their faces when they unwrapped this heirloom that will be cherished for generations.
